FRANKENSTEIN
03:38

He’s a scientist, his name is Frankenstein.
In French his name is Frankenstein. He is a mad scientist.
But then he made a monster
See this big face? That’s him.
But who died? How did he make it?
He made the monster with green stuff. He made the monster with electricity. He was a terrible monster. He could destroy.
And then the terrible monster got dead and then he came back alive. He’s sad because he died. Why did the scientist make a terrible monster?

Love Is Not A Game
04:51
|

I took your call in Philadelphia
Like an early morning rain
Like a right turn up the higher road
On a San Francisco train
You weren’t too shy to try and hide it
We both had lonesome in our lungs
While I was in some college basement
Hooters posters crawling bugs
Love is not a game
You play to win
There is no inside track
I say again
Love is not a game
You play to win
But we had it all anyway
TIl by grace of god there came that day
We had to play again
You were such fashionable people
Never caught wearing the same thing
I considered you a trophy
That burst right out the trophy case
Drinking our first real maragaritas
At Maria’s in Santa Fe
Then fighting through a sandstorm
Tears and grins strewn on our face
Love is not a game
You play to win
There is no inside track
I say again
Love is not a game
You play to win
But we had it all anyway
TIl by grace of god there came that day
We had to play again
I still consider you my family
I hope you visit by my grave
When the Reaper comes a-callin’
And sticks me back in Plato’s Cave
Our every moment was a present
Even though things they aren’t the same
And though we both feel like we’re losing
Love is not a game
Love is not a game
You play to win
There is no inside track
I say again
Love is not a game
You play to win
But we had it all anyway
TIl by grace of god there came that day
We had to play again

My Forever Man
03:26

My forever man
Love surprised me
just as one part of my life ended
and another was about to begin
I never thought that meeting you
would change my life forever
I cherish our travels
our discovery of countries
I never imagined I would ever see
Dancing lessons that we enjoyed so much
Long walks and
always so much laughter
There's our love of crosswords
my corny jokes
your attempt at singing and
the strange way we
seem to read each other's mind
Though so different it seems our souls met before
In another world, in another time
Will forever bless the day I met you
You are my forever man

I'm Living Indoors
02:17

Mask on your Face
Dog bed on the floor
Chair in the living room
Scooter outdoors
We all try to make the place better
By putting it together
Pillow on the bed
Ice cream in the refrigertor
People living in the house
and cats chase the mouse
Computer on the table
Table on the floor
Hope it makes sense for now
I'm living indoors
Hope it makes sense for now
I'm living indoors
I'm living indoors
I'm living indoors
I'm living indoors
I'm living indoors

Time Is Not Money
03:06
|
|||
I used to wake up angry
force-feed and throw myself in traffic
I used to break my back and hands and
morale on a daily basis
but i don't anymore
it's not gonna last but for now i enjoy
that since i lost my job
sleep's a luxury i can afford
and everyone i know is caught
in the gears of a machine that'll crush
your hopes and dreams and bones
until there's none left to feed on
but my time's finally mine again
i don't know how long i can pay rent
but since i lost my job
sleep's a luxury i can afford
